SHAKIRA CONFIRMS PREGNANCY


(EFE September 19, 2012-The Nacional.com) Colombian singer Shakira confirmed Wednesday, after weeks of speculation that she and her boyfriend, Spanish footballer Gerard Pique, are expecting their first child and therefore has decided to cancel all promotional activities it had planned.

"As many of you know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby," she said Wednesday through his website the singer to confirm your pregnancy.

"We decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and that is why we have decided to postpone the promotional activities of the coming days," he added.

"I thank my fans for the love and understanding forever and I'm sure this weekend in Las Vegas will be spectacular, I will be closely following iHeartRadio concert and everything that happens there," said Shakira about a concert where multiple planned to engage in that city in Nevada (USA).

The singer says goodbye adding: "A big kiss.'ll See you soon! Shakira" who, however, if you plan to join in the spring, with the artist in R & B Usher, the TV show "The Voice" as temporary substitutes Christina Aguilera and Ceelo Green.

On September 6 Shakira released a video in which she sang a duet with her father a topic of the original soundtrack of "Love in the Time of Cholera" and that he used to congratulate him on his 81st birthday.

Also posted a photo with his parents and aunt who supposedly was taken the same day during the celebration of the birthday of his father, but the image did not help hanging resolve doubts about a pregnancy which took weeks speculating
