WIN THE 'BLACK SWAN' IN THE SPIRIT
(Quien.com) The film received four awards in the delivery of the best independent film, including Best Picture, Best Actress Natalie Portman and best director Darren Aronofsky. The ballet thriller "Black Swan" won four Spirit Awards on Saturday, delivered to independent films, during a ceremony Saturday on the eve of the Oscars. James Franco was voted best actor for the survival story titled "127 Hours." Portman is considered to be the Oscar of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for best actress and Franco will host the ceremony along with actress Anne Hathaway. Quite close to the Oscar nominees, the Spirit Awards are considered a prelude to the biggest celebration of Hollywood. The film about the British monarchy "The King's Speech", which is the favorite to win the Oscar, won the award for best foreign film. "Black Swan" also won the award for best photography, Matthew Libatique. Portman and Aronofsky joked about the difficulty of making the film "Black Swan" because of budgetary constraints, as some people thought the film would not be attractive enough to recoup their investment. "My ballet teacher asked almost every day," Then, when we pay ?''', told Portman, who won recognition for her role as a dancer who loses track of reality. Aronofsky, meanwhile thanked the investors for believing in the film. "See, now are (insult) rich," said Aronofsky in talking about the people who sponsored the film, which became a box office hit that has grossed 100 million dollars. Aronofsky said he had been blessed with courageous actors in all his movies and did not stop praise for Portman. "I had an amazing actress that gives you everything he has and also prepare for the role for one year. I will always be indebted to Miss Natalie Portman, "said Aronofsky.
RAZZIE AWARD WINNERS
(hola.com) The Razzies, considered the "anti-oscar" in the industry, were baited with The Last Airbender, the latest film from M. Night Shyamalan. As revealed by the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation, which provides the dreaded Razzies, The Last Airbender was done with the statues (golden raspberries whose value is less than five dollars) to the worst picture, worst director, worst screenplay, worst supporting actor (Jackson Rathbone, who also took him Twilight Saga Eclipse)and worst use of 3D . The other suffered most of the evening was Sex and the City 2, which was the worst actress award (for his entire female cast, made up of Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon), worst sequel and worst distribution. The title of worst actor went to Ashton Kutcher, Killers and Valentine's Day, while as worst actress Jessica Alba was crowned, thanks to The Killer Inside Me, Little Fockers, Machete and Valentine's Day. The satirical ceremony, held as a tradition the night before the Oscars, took place at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Hollywood. The Razzies were created in 1980 as the antidote to the glamorous Hollywood imposed annually by the Academy Awards.

The comedy "Hall Pass", the brothers Farrely, attracted $ 13.4 million for Warner Bros. action movie "Drive Angry"took 5.1 million for Summit Entertainment. The film concert "Justin Bieber: Never Never Say "by Justin Bieber, in the third dimension, Paramount, captured $ 9.2 million in the third week since its release. The director Jon Chu reissued the material with "shots of fans " who took advantage of the proposals of the teen pop star's fans. Chuck Viane, Disney head of distribution, attributed the box office success of Gnomeo to word of mouth recommendations and the lack of competition in the market family films. "By the time most people are watching the Oscars, we will have reaped most of the lockers, " said Viane.
