SCHWARZENEGGER HAD A CHILD WITH AN EMPLOYEE AT HIS HOME 10 YEARS AGO

(el-nacional.com) The newspaper said that the wife of former governor of California, Maria Shriver, "seceded after he learned that Schwarzenegger gave birth to the child for more than a decade before he was running for governor" Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who recently announced his divorce from his wife Maria Shriver, has acknowledged that he had a son with a woman who spent two decades in the home, the newspaper reported Tuesday The Los Angeles Times. The newspaper said that Shriver "broke up after he learned that Schwarzenegger gave birth to the child for more than a decade before he was running for governor." The boy's mother left the job in January. Schwarzenegger himself in a written statement, acknowledged that his wife reported the matter after leaving the governorship of California, last January. "I understand and I deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and my family," said the former governor in a statement that says "no excuses and I take full responsibility for the harm caused." "I've asked forgiveness of Maria, my children and my family," he added. To protect the privacy of the former employee does not publish his name or that of his son. Los Angeles Times said Tuesday that the woman, in an interview before Schwarzenegger reveal the relationship, said it had voluntarily abandoned his job and left the family home "on good terms." According to the Times, "Schwarzenegger became financially responsible for the creature from the beginning and continued to provide support." Shriver, 55, and Kennedy family member, is the daughter of Eunice, had left the family home in Brentwood months ago, and last week the couple announced their separation after 25 years of marriage. Schwarzenegger and Shriver have four children with ages ranging from 14 to 21 years. The former first lady of California, according to his spokesman, has no comment to make on this subject.  When they announced the separation, Schwarzenegger, 63, suggested that it would be temporary. "We love you," said the former governor last week, adding that he and Shriver are "very lucky because we had four extraordinary children, and face it day by day."  But the Times said some friends Shriver gave a version of "less optimistic" of the situation and stressed that she has been unhappy for years, but declined to give a definite step until his parents died and Schwarzenegger completed its mandate. Shriver's father, Sargent Shriver, died on January 18 this year and his mother, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, had died a year and a half earlier. Since the end of his term as governor, Schwarzenegger has had a very active public life, met with dignitaries from around the world and has attended a meeting at the White House on immigration. At the same time has worked to revive the movie career that made him famous before they devote to politics.
