NICOLAS CAGE'S SON IS IN PSYCHIATRIC OBSERVATION

(Mexico.cnn.com) LOS ANGELES (CNN) - Nicolas Cage's son would be released from a hospital in Los Angeles this weekend, where he was treated while under psychiatric supervision after a violent incident against a Hollywood restaurant on Tuesday.  But the mother of Weston Cage, Christina Fulton, asked her doctor to recommend that your child 20 years of age, is kept in the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center for another two weeks, told CNN on Friday.  "I do not want it to Nicolas Cage," Fulton said. "I do not want it under such care. That's not my child care need. " Fulton Nicolas Cage is suing for unpaid taxes and the Hollywood house where she raised her son, who, according to court documents, suffers from "a series of mental illnesses, psychological and physical."  Weston Cage, in a statement issued through his father's lawyer on Friday afternoon, said he did not want his mother involved in your care.  "I am an adult," said Weston. "I want nothing to do with my mother. Any problems you've had is because my relationship with my mother. " When Fulton heard the quote, said it was "a disgrace" that the lawyer will request a statement of his son while he was on psychiatric observation and is considered legally incompetent.  "My son is under a spell, is in a state of trance," said Fulton. "Weston would say anything that his father wants to say."  Nicolas Cage Fulton blame for what she said is the downward spiral of his son since he turned 18 and was no longer under its guardianship.  "It's because of your Father which is in the hospital," said Fulton. "He had his chance. He had his chance to make it right. My son had a healthy environment here. Had a system that was fantastic. I built it myself and my team. "  A member of the team of caregivers was Kevin Villegas, who hired Fulton struggle as a personal trainer for your child when he was in high school. She said Villegas fired three years ago, but Nicolas Cage hired him.  Villegas is now under investigation by the brutal public beating on Weston Cage on a sidewalk in Hollywood on Tuesday afternoon. Detectives in Los Angeles will present their findings to a prosecutor who will decide whether Kevin Villegas, who was hired as coach of Cage, will be charged, told CNN a police spokesman. CNN failed to contact with Villegas for comment. Videos for mobile phones, which have been published online, indicate that the violence began when Cage tried Villegas kick after the coach complained about the food he wanted to ask in a restaurant. The video showed a Cage being beaten repeatedly when he was stopped on the sidewalk.  Nicolas Cage, in a statement given to CNN by his spokesman on Friday called Fulton's comments blaming him for the psychiatric problems of his son as "unfortunate and inappropriate."  "This is a time to focus only on giving love and support for Weston, not an opportunity to blame his father, a man who loves his son very deeply," said Cage.  Fulton, who broke away from Cage after the birth of her son, said his father rarely was there to see his son grow up, as she struggled with medical and psychological problems.  "For 18 years, grew up in Weston for Nicolas Cage might be, and become a superstar, and he did," he said. "So I raised this boy, 24 hours a day, we were glued to each other."
After Weston's 18 th birthday, his father "orchestrated" the removal of your child in your care to convince employees that it hired to work for him, and give him his own house and money, "said Fulton.  "Everyone went to work with Nicolas Cage because he has the money, you bank account and has the reputation, and I do not," he said.  Weston's special needs were not met without it, he said.  "My son now has been under the care of Nicolas" he said. "That did not work. It is very obvious that it did not work. Miserably failed, failed miserably. " Cage's lawyer, Martin Singer, said the lawsuit against Fulton Cage is his motivation to attack the father of her child.  "The comments of Ms. Fulton about Mr. Cage are absurd and very sad that she would go after this because your child wants nothing to do with it," said Singer. "This clearly is not just about money for Mrs. Fulton."  Fulton's attorney told CNN that she applied for custody of her son next week to ensure he receives the attention it needs when it is finally released from psychiatric observation.  "I would like my child be with his mother, where everything worked," Fulton said. "I would like my child is in an environment where everything worked. You know, succeeding 18 years, 18 years to see my child responding to medical interventions that have provided and all the support. Why spoil that? Why interfere with that? My son has to be home.
