CARLA BRUNI GAVE BIRTH TO A GIRL

(globovision.com) Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, wife of President Nicolas Sarkozy of France, gave birth to a daughter Wednesday in Paris, said a person from their environment to the AFP. "At the moment we do not know the name of the girl," said the source. This is the first time in the history of the French Republic that a sitting president has a son. The presidency said in advance that would not communicate about the birth of the child.  On Wednesday, effervescent mood was around the Parisian clinic "La Muette" in the sixteenth arrondissement of Paris, close to the Esplanade to the Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower, AFP journalists noted.  Numerous journalists were present in the vicinity after the celebrity magazine Closer announced entry into the clinic of the wife of French president visited his wife shortly before the local 16H00 (14H00 GMT), before heading to Frankfurt to attend a meeting of European leaders due to the debt crisis. Sarkozy, 56, spent half an hour at the clinic around which in recent days they installed a security perimeter to filter access to it.  Nicolas Sarkozy is the father of three sons from two previous marriages: Pierre Jean aged 26 to 25, from his marriage to Marie Dominique Culioliu, and Louis, aged 14, his second wife Cecilia Ciganer Albeniz. Carla Bruni, 43, former model and singer with a husky voice, has a ten year old child, Aurélien, resulting from a previous relationship with French philosophy professor Raphael Enthoven. Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni were married on February 2, 2008.
