Quite close to the Oscar nominees, the Spirit Awards are considered a prelude to the biggest celebration of Hollywood. The film about the British monarchy "The King's Speech", which is the favorite to win the Oscar, won the award for best foreign film. "Black Swan" also won the award for best photography, Matthew Libatique. Portman and Aronofsky joked about the difficulty of making the film "Black Swan" because of budgetary constraints, as some people thought the film would not be attractive enough to recoup their investment. "My ballet teacher asked almost every day," Then, when we pay ?''', told Portman, who won recognition for her role as a dancer who loses track of reality. Aronofsky, meanwhile thanked the investors for believing in the film. "See, now are (insult) rich," said Aronofsky in talking about the people who sponsored the film, which became a box office hit that has grossed 100 million dollars. Aronofsky said he had been blessed with courageous actors in all his movies and did not stop praise for Portman. "I had an amazing actress that gives you everything he has and also prepare for the role for one year. I will always be indebted to Miss Natalie Portman, "said Aronofsky.
