Prince William and Kate Middleton have invited them to their royal wedding. “We do have an invitation,” the Elton told Canada’s CTV. “I’ve been trying to be discreet.” So what does Elton think of the Prince William’s bride-to-be? Kate “is Diana in personality. She is very discreet, she is a very beautiful girl,” he said. “They have been together a long time and I think she has handled the pressure so much.” But he reportedly wasn’t thrilled that she received Diana’s ring. “It is none of my business,” he said, “but I thought it was a little odd.” And Elton thinks the pressure the future husband and wife will face will continue as he says Prince William “one of the hardest jobs in the world … the scrutiny he will be under.” “I hope [William] becomes King at an early age,” Elton explained. “I think we need young people like him to lead. I think he will be a tremendous king – not that Charles won’t, but I think William will be … tremendous.”
